315: A few weeks ago, I signed up for a free programmable thermostat hoping we could save a few bucks here and there and be energy smart at the same time. I received the package in the mail and couldn't wait to install it! With the help of my dad, it's now up and running!! Let the savings begin!

316: We (Marc and I) finally made our way to see the house "The Extreme Home Makeover" show built in Hampton Roads. It looked amazing on the outside -- I can't wait to watch the episode and see what they did to the inside.

319: My co-worker Nini makes delicious cupcakes and one of my favorites of hers is the Caramel Mocha cupcake. The other day, I gave her the idea to pop a little green straw in there so it would look like a Starbucks drink. She listened to my idea and it came out cute! Oohh!

321: Woke us this morning to a few surprises from the husband! Not pictured is the homemade slide show he put together that was playing on the tv when I came downstairs -- too sweet!

Kobe also has a Valentine! We went outside for a walk only to find a card taped to the door addressed to Kobe from the neighbor's dog, Izzy! She has a crush on him.

Got off early!

Luckily, we were over a few nurses at work and they needed to send someone home. I was first on the list and was able to go home at 11:30pm and not 7:30am! My lucky night!

323: A co-worker showed me last year that one of the main elevators at work has my "name" on it. If you look at it, it kinda does look like it.

Ready for some rain

324: When I first purchased rain boots, it didn't rain or snow for weeks. When I decided to return the original pair and order these new ones, it rained and rained and even snowed the entire week I was waiting for them to be shipped!

Today, my rain boots arrived and this weekend's forecast is predicting warmer weather with sunny and clear skies -- go figure!

Super bowl Sunday

329: Got a lot accomplished today!

-woke up early to go grocery shopping with my mom and sister at the commissary. Packed our shopping carts with a great deal on ribs,I mean PACKED!
- took the dogs to the beach to enjoy the sun and sand while Carole and I took pictures.
- took Carole to the Japanese Garden at Red Wing Park so she can take more pictures.
- had a wonderfully prepared lunch by my dad (lobster and bbq ribs! Yum!)
-attempted to take a sneak peek at the latest Extreme Home Makeover house that was recently filmed 10 miles away, only to be turned away by security.
-shopping.
- introduced carole, pat, and marc to the Diablotin at Baker's Crust! They loved it!
- spent the rest of the night enjoying wings, ribs, football, and glee!

Excited for the Packers win, loved the new Darth Vader/Volkswagen commercial, and enjoyed the fact that Christina Aguilera messed up our national anthem (not her biggest fan)!!

All in all a fun day!

332: Happy Chinese New Year!

We celebrated the Chinese New Year at work by having a local chinese restaurant cater lunch. Also, Berni, my co-worker, provided us with the red envelopes which signifies luck and prosperity. Fun!

Haircut Time

333: It may not be noticeable in this picture, but I definitely can tell my hair is two inches shorter. Lately my hair has been growing like weeds, so I got my bangs cut shorter and added a few more layers.

Relaxing day

334: Every few months Sheryl and I plan a massage day followed by lunch at Bakers Crust,so today we finally had time to schedule one in. We bought a Groupon a few months ago for this massage place named Massage Luxe. It included a 1 hour Swedish massage and a 15 minute hydro luxe bed treatment - it was so relaxing!

Afterwards, we had lunch at Bakers Crust and got our favorite dessert, The Diablotin. It's a crepe filled with chocolate mousse, strawberries, a vanilla sauce, and whipped cream on the side -- delicious!

I'm already looking forward to our next date.
