Volcano!

335: Tonight was sushi night for me and Marc! At Sakura, they offer buffet-style eating but with a catch! You can order all you want, but whatever you don't finish they will charge you for that plate. Knowing this, Marc and I started off with only 3 items each. Who knew we would get so full off these 3 items?! Just when I became full, they brought out my Volcano roll - I could barely eat one piece!! Fifteen minutes pass and we finally get half of it down. We couldn't finish the rest of the roll and luckily didn't get charged extra. I don't think I can eat another volcano roll...ever!!

336: It's Sunday morning and I have to go to work. Kobe usually gets up with me as I get ready, but not today. Even HE knows it's the weekend and it's way too early to get up!

337: Ailene was in town for the weekend and she invited me and Marc out for lunch. It was no surprise that we ended up at Saffron Indian Bistro. That place never disappoints - we left the restaurant full and satisfied.

338: Love a good chicago style deep dish pizza.

Marc and I ordered the Farmer's Market. It was topped with spinach, eggplant, Roma tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, sautéed onions, goat cheese, mozzarella cheese and pesto.

Mediterranean Pork Chops

339: Found a new crock pot recipe and it was delicious! Yum!

1/4 cup olive oil 1 cup broth

1 tbsp paprika 1 tbsp italian seasoning

1 tbsp garlic powder 1 onion

1 minced garlic

mix together all the ingredients. Then add in 4 thick cut pork chops.

Cook in crock pot on high for 4 hours. It will be fall off the bone goodness.

340: Come April 1st, all the RN's at work will have to don on navy blue scrubs. In a move to look more professional, we can no longer wear pretty ones which stinks because I have a ton! One good thing about it... i'm shopping for new ones!!

Snow.

364: What's left from last week's snow storm. It doesn't look like it now, but that used to be between 15-20 inches high. It's the most I've ever seen! Having the snow around made playing outside a lot of fun - even the dogs had a blast. But after a week of slushy roads, icy sidewalks, and dirty shoes, I'm glad to see it go.
